NBA Scout: J'Covan Brown Showing Great Point Guard Skills

Dec 7, 2011 1:12 PM

J'Covan Brown has had an outstanding beginning to his junior season at Texas, averaging 19.4 points, 5.0 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game.

"I'm ridiculously impressed with his point guard skills," said one NBA scout. "He has big balls and reminds me of a slightly better handled Mo Williams. He reads the floor well and really competes. The problem with him is he lives on the edge emotionally. He wants it to be too much about him. I could see himself getting into the late first round."

Andrew White Commits To Kansas

Dec 2, 2011 3:48 PM

Andrew White has committed to Kansas, picking the school over North Carolina State, West Virginia, Louisville, Texas, Georgetown and Richmond.

White is a 6-foot-20 small forward from Virginia.

“He has improved the most in one year's time span (of anybody he’s ever seen),” his AAU coach Ty White said. “He can stroke it out of this world. His body is built like a man. He is putting it (ball) on the deck a lot more while rebounding it very well for his position. He plays both ends of the court.”

White is approximately a top-50 recruit in the class of 2012.
